This is a 4 week workshop where you learn to write and perform stand-up comedy. Page to the Stage will help you develop a style, rhythm, and cadence that will truly convey your comedic persona. We will help you develop and enhance your comedic writing and perspective and as you develop your craft you will create a unique stand up performance. Once you register consider your spot to be held for you. Your payment, and spot is non transferrable. You will receive a copy of your edited footage of your performance. There are no refunds under any circumstances. LASC does not guarantee any terms of employment.

This workshop will introduce kids to the world of comedy and give them experience of being on stage! A fantastic opportunity to expand your child’s horizons, culminating with a performance.. The instructors are Ryan Benson and Samantha Linderman.

Ryan is finishing up his acting degree at University of Southern California. He has been with LASC for over a year. He has experience teaching improv and acting classes at LASC and elsewhere.

Samantha is an up and coming comic who has been working with the LA School of Comedy for a year now. She is the Comedy Concierge here and helps host, produce, and assist at the studio. She has tutored children before and worked as a teacher’s assistant.
